class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Edit_phpini\"><\/span><strong>Edit php.ini<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Within \/etc\/php.ini ensure the following settings are configured by either un-commenting them or by changing the appropriate value.<\/p>\n<p class=\"codemulti\">short_open_tag = On<br \/>magic_quotes_gpc = On<br \/>register_globals = On<br \/>session.save_path = &#8220;\/var\/lib\/php\/session&#8221;<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Edit_httpconf\"><\/span><strong>Edit http.conf<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Edit the Apache configuration to ensure the following configuration settings are set.<\/p>\n<p class=\"codemulti\">LoadModule php5_module \/usr\/lib\/httpd\/modules\/libphp5.so<br \/>AddType applications\/x-httpd-php .php<br \/>AddType applications\/x-httpd-php-source .phps<br \/>ServerName &#8216;hostname&#8217;<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Restart_Apache\"><\/span><strong>Restart Apache<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"codemulti\">\/etc\/init.d\/httpd save it within the directory <span style=\"\">\/var\/www\/html\/<\/span>.
