Question

How do I show the CPU usage for the management processor ?

Answer

To see the CPU usage on the MP (Management Processor) the following command is used,

SSH@adx# show cpu-utilization
peak: 41.4 percent busy at 5520 seconds ago
7243 sec avg: 10.3 percent busy
1 sec avg:  1.0 percent busy
5 sec avg: 10.5 percent busy
60 sec avg: 10.5 percent busy
300 sec avg: 10.3 percent busy
ASB1/1 peak: 0.9% in 1h14m, last sec: 0.1%, 5 sec: 0.1%, 60 sec: 0.1%, 300 sec: 0.1%
ASB1/2 peak: 0.9% in 13m20s, last sec: 0.1%, 5 sec: 0.1%, 60 sec: 0.1%, 300 sec: 0.1%
ASB1/3 peak: 7.7% in 2m14s, last sec: 0.1%, 5 sec: 0.1%, 60 sec: 0.1%, 300 sec: 0.1%
ASB1/4 peak: 1.0% in 1h59m, last sec: 0.1%, 5 sec: 0.1%, 60 sec: 0.1%, 300 sec: 0.1%

Note : the actual MP usage is highlighted in yellow, the other totals relate to the BP`s (Barrell Processors).

To see a breakdown of the processor usage across each of the processes running on the MP the following command is used,

SSH@adx# show proc cpu
